A hard to describe sound that might be useful for games, in particular pinball machines and similar arcade games. This is a cc0 sound, based on (at time of download) cc0 parrot ar drone 2. 0 take off, flight and landing. This is a flac file. It is lossless like wav but compressed like ogg/mp3. Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.

Created for a trailer for a film. I used a grandfather clock for the main ticking of the hands but layered and added other sounds such as a heartbeat, hall kick drum with reverb and synthesis techniques. Please note: the ticking by note be in sync if you use and a countdown image i had to move the ticks to accommodate the wall clock i was working with due to the ticks where not always in time.

A friend and i have carefully re-created a sound very similar to his boom sound from scratch using thor synths and reverb in reason 7 and cubase with some tweaking in soundforge. This one's totally public domain, creative commons, non-attribution pro-commercial use! and it sounds just like herbert's. Remember,. This is not herbert boland's sound. This is a small construction kit - lightly processed for easy control and use. . . It´s based on these broken beat sounds and trip hop - and a bit jazzy from the choosen instruments. . . 165 bpm - the drumsamples are from a roality free libary. . .

Processed kick with good transientmade with ableton and been tested with monitors, its been eq'd and a compressed. This sound it at -0. 1db instead of 0. 0 so it's definitely not clipping. The sub of the kick is made in ni massive and then processed with all most every plugin i have. I took surprisingly long to make because it was originally meant to be secret for one of my own tracks but i never really used it so it has a lot of hidden detail that is just waiting to be downloaded lol.

Here are some drums i made, on the synthesizer again. In order they are: parallel compressed kick, regular kick, snare, closed hi-hat and open hi-hat. The set before the break is mastered, while the set after the break isn't (i did throw a little limiter in there though just to boost 'em up a bit easily, but they're still not mastered). Enjoy. Credit is appreciated but not at all needed, i just like synthesizer-ing.

This is a free kick sound i created using a roland 808 drum machine. I then ran it through distortion and compression in sound forge to get this hard boomy crunchy punch. Pitched at c2 for convenience. Enjoy :).

This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping.
